Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup cherry pie filling (or fresh/pitted cherries)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until it's completely smooth and creamy.

Roll Out the Dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the perforations.

Fill the Croissants: On the wide end of each crescent triangle, spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture. Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese.

Shape the Croissants: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll up each crescent triangle toward the pointed end, tucking the tip underneath to secure it.

Prepare for Air Frying: Brush the top of each croissant with the beaten egg to achieve a golden color while baking.

Air Fry the Croissants: Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C). Arrange the croissants in a single layer in the basket of the air fryer, making sure they don’t touch. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Cool and Serve: Once done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.

Enjoy: Serve warm as a delicious breakfast or delightful dessert!
