Ingredients

8 oz lo mein noodles

1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tbsp vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 green onions, chopped

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Cook the noodles: In a large pot of boiling water, cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Set aside.

Stir-fry the beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Combine ingredients: Add the cooked lo mein noodles and beef back into the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss everything together until well coated and heated through (about 2-3 minutes).

Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein!
