Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2-3 bags green tea
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and add green tea bags or loose leaf tea; steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags or strain loose tea and let the brewed tea cool to room temperature.
  • Blend fresh blueberries and grated ginger until smooth; strain if desired.
  • In a large pitcher, mix cooled tea with blueberry-ginger puree, honey, and lemon juice.
  • Stir until honey is dissolved; adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mixture over the ice.
  • Garnish with fresh mint and lemon slices.
