Ingredients

4 slices sourdough bread

8 ounces sliced turkey breast

4 slices sharp cheddar cheese

4 slices crispy cooked bacon

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon butter

Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Spread: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until well combined. Set aside.

Assemble the Sandwich: Take two slices of sourdough bread and spread a generous amount of the mayo-Dijon mixture on each slice.

Layer Ingredients: On one slice, layer the sliced turkey breast evenly, followed by crispy bacon, and then top with two slices of cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper as desired.

Top and Complete: Place the other slice of bread (with the spread) on top to complete the sandwich. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients for the second sandwich.

Grill the Sandwiches: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once foaming, carefully place the sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the sandwiches, adding a little more butter to the skillet if necessary. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, pressing down gently with a spatula, until the cheese is melted, and both sides are golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute. Slice in half, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
