Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)

Cooking spray

Sesame seeds (for topping, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft.

Season the Mixture: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Add Cheese: Stir in both the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until well mixed.

Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforation lines.

Fill the Dough: Take each triangle and place about 2 tablespoons of the cheeseburger filling in the widest part of the triangle. Add a drizzle of mustard and ketchup if desired.

Seal the Pockets: Fold the dough over to create a pocket, ensuring that you pinch the edges tightly to seal.

Place on Baking Sheet: Place the filled pockets on the prepared baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added flavor and texture.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Serve: Remove the cheeseburger pockets from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with extra ketchup and mustard on the side if desired.
