Ingredients
  

  • 1 large loaf sourdough or ciabatta bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  • Make deep crisscross cuts in the bread, about 1 inch apart, without slicing through the bottom.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter mixture into the cuts and over the top of the bread.
  • Stuff shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese into each cut.
  • Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Sprinkle additional parsley on top before serving.
