  • 20 pieces jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and cool.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until onion is translucent.
  • Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and egg in a bowl, then fold in the beef mixture.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Stuff each shell with the beef and cheese filling.
  • Place stuffed shells in a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and cover with foil.
