Ingredients
  

  • 12 pieces lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • for garnish fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the lasagna noodles until al dente, then drain and lay flat on a towel.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Spread ¼ cup of the cheese mixture on each noodle and roll tightly, placing seam-side down in the dish.
  • Pour remaining marinara sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Serve with a side salad and garlic bread for a complete meal.
