Ingredients

1 cup ground beef (or turkey)

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 can refrigerated pizza dough

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Cooking spray

Salsa and sour cream for dipping

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.

Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Season the Meat: Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat and add a splash of water. Stir well and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until fully combined.

Prepare the Taco Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat, diced tomatoes, black beans, green onions, and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, unroll the pizza dough and cut it into rectangles (about 4x6 inches).

Fill the Dough: Place a spoonful of the taco mixture in the center of each dough rectangle. Top with a sprinkle of the remaining cheese.

Seal the Sticks: Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal each taco stick tightly. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.

Bake the Taco Sticks: Arrange the sticks on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with salsa and sour cream on the side for dipping. Garnish with additional cilantro if desired.
