Cowboy Butter Steak Sliders

Ingredients
  

1 lb flank steak

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 slider buns

1 cup Cowboy Butter (see below for recipe)

1 cup arugula

1 medium red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

For the Cowboy Butter:

1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

Make the Cowboy Butter:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, onion powder, parsley, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

      - Mix until well combined, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

        Prepare the Steak:

          - Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

            - Season the flank steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

              - Grill or sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.

                Slice the Steak:

                  - After resting, slice the flank steak thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.

                    Assemble the Sliders:

                      - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

                        - Split the slider buns and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.

                          - Spread a generous amount of Cowboy Butter on each bun.

                            - Layer the sliced steak evenly over the buns.

                              - Top with arugula, red onion slices, and shredded cheddar cheese.

                                - Place the top halves of the buns on each slider.

                                  Bake:
