Ingredients

1 log (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (any flavor)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme mix)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sliced vegetables or crackers, for serving

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.

Prepare the Boursin: Remove the Boursin cheese from its packaging and place it in the center of the baking sheet. Using a spatula, slightly flatten it to form an even disc.

Make the Bread Crumb Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried Italian herbs, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Prepare the Egg Wash: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and Dijon mustard until smooth and well combined.

Coat the Cheese: Dip the flattened Boursin into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s completely coated. Let any excess drip off. Then, transfer it to the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the Boursin firmly to create an even coating on all sides.

Bake: Place the coated Boursin on the baking sheet. Lightly spray the top with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the coating is golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let sit for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm with sliced vegetables or crackers for dipping.
