  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can evaporated milk 12 oz
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Add uncooked elbow macaroni to the crockpot and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together evaporated milk, whole milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Pour the milk mixture over the macaroni and stir to coat evenly.
  • Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, reserving a small handful of each for later, and fold gently.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Once tender, stir in reserved cheeses on top and let melt for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Serve warm, optionally garnished with extra grated Parmesan.
