  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
  • fresh parsley finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with softened butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and ground nutmeg.
  • Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish.
  • Pour half of the creamy mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.

  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
