4 slices of sourdough bread

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

2 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced

1 avocado, sliced

Fresh basil leaves (a handful)

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)

Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Bread: Start by preheating your grill or a skillet over medium heat. Drizzle one side of each slice of sourdough bread with olive oil. This will be the side that gets grilled.

    Layer the Ingredients: On the non-oiled side of two slices, layer half of the fresh mozzarella, followed by the tomato slices, avocado slices, fresh basil leaves, and then the remaining mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper to add flavor.

      Top and Close: Place the other two slices of bread on top, oiled side up, to create sandwiches.
