Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced or cubed

4 oz pepperoni slices

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles.

On the wider end of each triangle, place 2-3 slices of pepperoni and a piece of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning on top.

Starting from the wide end of the triangle, carefully roll each croissant toward the point to form a roll. Pinch the ends to seal them.

Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.

Brush the top of each croissant with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

Prep Time: 10 min | Total Time: 25 min | Servings: 8 croissant rolls
