Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated croissant dough (8 ounces)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Croissant Dough: Open the package of croissant dough and carefully unroll it on a clean surface, separating it into individual triangles.

Mix Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, olive oil, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Toss until well mixed.

Assemble the Rolls: Place a spoonful of the mozzarella and pepperoni mixture at the wide end of each croissant triangle. Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle tightly towards the point to encase the filling.

Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave space between each roll.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, whisk the egg. Brush the tops of each croissant roll with the egg wash to give them a golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the croissant rolls are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve: Let them cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 8 croissant rolls
