1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of milk)

1 medium orange, peeled and segmented

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (low-fat or regular)

1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon orange zest (optional for added flavor)

1 cup ice cubes

Instructions
 

In a blender, combine the almond milk, orange segments, vanilla protein powder, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and orange zest.

    Blend on high until all ingredients are smooth and creamy, approximately 30-45 seconds.

      Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the shake is frosty and fully combined.

        Taste and adjust sweetness or add more ice if desired.

          Pour into a tall glass and chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes if you prefer it extra cold.

            Serve immediately, garnished with a slice of orange or a sprinkle of orange zest if desired.
