  • 1 pound ground beef or thinly sliced steak
  • 1 medium onion finely diced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper finely diced
  • 2 cups cooked pasta penne or rigatoni recommended
  • 1 cup provolone cheese shredded
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sliced steak until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain excess fat, then add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in cooked pasta, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle provolone and cheddar cheese on top.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
