  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 jar 24 oz marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, onion powder, oregano, and milk.
  • Mix the ingredients gently with your hands until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  • With slightly damp hands, scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into a ball, placing each on the baking sheet.
