  • 1 pound breakfast sausage crumbled
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 cups day-old bread cut into cubes
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the crumbled sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess grease.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until smooth. Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Fold in the cooked sausage, cubed bread, and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
