  • 1 package cocktail sausages
  • 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
  • Optional: Sesame seeds or poppy seeds for garnish
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper for lining the baking sheet

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  • Combine Dijon mustard and honey in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a flat surface and pinch seams together.
  • Slice the dough into rectangles measuring approximately 2 inches by 3 inches.
  • Place a cocktail sausage at one end of each rectangle and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Drizzle the mustard-honey mixture over the cheese and sausage.
  • Roll the dough around the sausage, placing the seam side down on the baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds if desired.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Cool for a few minutes before serving with dipping sauces.
