  • 2 steaks fresh tuna
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions finely chopped

Instructions

  • Combine soy sauce, grated ginger, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and rice vinegar in a bowl to make the glaze.
  • Marinate tuna steaks in half of the glaze for 15 to 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Remove tuna from marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
  • Grill tuna steaks for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until medium-rare.
  • Brush remaining glaze over steaks in the last minute of grilling.
