Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

8 oz rotini pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and grated ginger. Set aside.

Cook the Rotini: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and set aside.

Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks and sear them for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

Glaze the Steaks: In the same skillet (lower the heat to medium), add the honey garlic sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly. Return the steaks to the skillet, turning them to coat in the sauce.

Combine Everything: In a large bowl, toss the cooked rotini and broccoli with any remaining sauce from the skillet, mixing until well combined.

Serve: Slice the steak against the grain and place it on a plate next to a generous serving of the honey garlic rotini and broccoli. Drizzle any extra sauce over the steak.

Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top for an extra touch.
