  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  • Scoop the mixture into tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls, placing them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • In a saucepan, mix honey, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil over medium heat until simmering.
  • Cook the sauce for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
  • Transfer the baked meatballs to a bowl and pour the sauce over them, tossing gently to coat.
