Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

4 whole wheat burger buns

Olive oil for cooking

Lettuce, tomato, and avocado for toppings

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, diced onion, minced garlic, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix everything until well combined.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal sections and shape each section into a burger patty. Ensure they are slightly thicker in the center to avoid them from puffing up while cooking.

Cook the Patties: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and drizzle a bit of olive oil to coat the pan. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden brown color.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the whole wheat burger buns lightly in the skillet. Place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, sliced tomato, and avocado. Add the top half of the bun to complete the burger.

Serve & Enjoy: Serve your delicious white cheddar and spinach chicken burgers with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh salad. Enjoy the cheesy, flavorful goodness!
